“Balticovo” is our success story – the representatives of the three parties represented in the coalition and one opposition politician confirmed almost unanimously. The mass production complex includes 12 cage-free chicken houses and a new egg sorting facility. What is the basis of this success story – Toms Auškāps, director of communication and development of “Balticovo”, board member, explained in a conversation with nra.lv.
The opening ceremony was preceded by inspiring speeches and a tasteful video report from the modern chicken coop, where the chickens themselves were the main informants of the situation in the production facility. Their passionate narration showed that the project was a complete success – the welfare of the “workers” was ensured at a higher level, so that they could produce at least a million eggs per day.
What is the basis of the success story? The answer is simple in words, but complex in actions – the courage to believe in yourself, your team and your abilities to realize ambitious, financially intensive business projects.

“Balticovo” currently maintains approximately 4.5 million hen houses in Latvia alone, of which around one million are homes and “working” places for young birds. More than three million eggs are produced in the company every day.
