Lithuania intends to send up to 40 soldiers to missions in the Strait of Hormuz, they would contribute to demining

According to the Minister of National Defense Robert Kaunas, Lithuanian soldiers would participate in demining works.

On Thursday, after the presentation, the Seimas approved the expansion of the resolution adopted at the end of last year regarding the sending of soldiers and civilians to the Strait of Hormuz. 78 Seimas members voted for it, seven were against, three abstained.
