A car crashed into a bank branch in Krems on Saturday night. Two meter-high window panes were destroyed, the fire department reported. The pregnant car driver was uninjured. Her car was slightly damaged. The cause of the accident was initially unknown.
The remains of the glass front were removed by members of the FF Krems. The floor window that leads directly into the branch was then closed using wooden boards and formwork panels. The second window – the one facing the bank’s self-service foyer – was secured with caution tape. According to the fire department, a private security service took over night-time surveillance of the branch. (APA)
