Today, in Hodeidah Governorate, the bidding envelopes were opened for a project to establish two milk collection center buildings in the Al-Zaidiyah and Bajil districts, at an estimated cost of 150 million and 467 thousand riyals, funded by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Finance Unit in the governorate.
In its meeting, headed by the First Undersecretary of the Governorate and Chairman of the Committee, Ahmed Al-Bishri, and in the presence of members of the relevant committee, the Tenders Committee reviewed the documents for receiving bids for the two projects, and ensured the integrity of the envelopes and numbering procedures.
The Tenders Committee referred the bids for the two projects to the Analysis Committee to complete the study and technical and financial evaluation procedures, and decide on them in accordance with the Tenders and Auctions Law and the conditions and standards specified in the tender documents.
At the meeting, the human agent confirmed that the two projects come within the framework of the governorate’s leadership’s interest in supporting the agricultural and livestock sector, and developing value chains for dairy products, to ensure the preservation of product quality and facilitate assembly and refrigeration operations.
He pointed out the local authority’s keenness to implement development projects in accordance with the approved technical specifications, and to serve the needs of citizens in the targeted districts, in implementation of local development plans and programs in the governorate.
