The square in front of the prime minister’s office was overflowing today on the ninth day of the civic protest like never before.
Among the participants are not only citizens and families, activists and environmentalists, but also artists.
One of those who spoke was the moderator Dojna Mema, who appealed to the Albanians not to give up, as she had no power and no money to shut them up.
“This is the most beautiful and biggest protest I’ve seen. For the new Albania, all together. We don’t keep silent, we don’t give up, we don’t negotiate with our future. When Albanians come together, there is no money and power that can shut them up,” she said, among other things.
Calling for the resignation of the government and listening to the voice of the youth, she supported the continuation of this citizen and youth protest until the end.
