Dr. Hatzimitsis and Dr. Michaelidis have been included in the international bibliometric ranking Research.com Best Environmental Scientists 2026.
THE Diophantos Hatzimitsis (5th place) and Silas Michaelidis (7th place) are two out of 8 scientists from universities of the Republic of Cyprus included in this year’s ranking for the field of Environmental Science, an element that accurately captures the level of its research presence in the international scientific community.
The Research.com ranking is based on the D-index, which captures a researcher’s scientific impact through published work and scientific references related to their field of study.
This recognition reflects the systematic research work carried out at the Eratosthenes Center of Excellence of TEPAK and the Department of Civil Engineering and Geoinformatics Engineering of the Cyprus University of Technology.
