The Minister of Transport, and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, received the Ambassador of China at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between Libya and China, and specifically:
– To benefit from China’s pioneering experience and significant development in various fields, particularly in the transportation sector.
– Opening opportunities for Chinese companies and businesspeople to invest in Libya
– Exploring the possibility of resuming direct flights between Libyan and Chinese airports, which would contribute to supporting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministry said this meeting comes within the framework of its commitment to consolidating international relations and expanding cooperation in a way that serves mutual interests and strengthens ties between the two friendly nations.
