A delegation from the Myrat Garryev State Medical University held a series of talks in Kazan with leading medical simulator manufacturers MedVision and EIDOS/medicine to discuss the prospects for supplying high-tech educational equipment to Turkmenistan.
The visit took place within the framework of the VII Congress of the Association of Asian Universities and the XII International Forum on Teacher Education (IFTE-2026). At the congress, University Rector N. Muratnazarova delivered a presentation proposing specific mechanisms for integrating artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and simulation technologies into physician training.
During meetings with the leadership of Kazan Federal University—Rector L. Safin and Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Professor A. Kalimullin—the parties discussed programs for advanced training for clinical faculty and the possibility of jointly producing educational equipment based on IT solutions.
On the sidelines of the forum, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was elected as the new head of the Association of Asian Universities.
