The Uruguayan Institute of Meteorology (Inumet) announced what the weather will be like for the next weekendwhich goes from the Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19.
For the morning of this Fridaythe organization announced a yellow alert for strong gusts of wind in Montevideo which lasts until Maldonado coast. The alert starts at 05:00 on Friday and the institute plans to update it about noon or “in the face of significant changes.”
For this day, “sustained winds between 40 to 50 kilometers per hour” and “streaks between 60 to 80 kilometers per hour“, according to Inumet. The phenomenon will affect the coastal region of the south and east of Uruguay.
