A woman died from several shots fired by her partner in the Buenos Aires sector, in the municipality of Neyba, Bahoruco province.
The corpse of Mariana Roman was taken to the municipal hospital, while it was reported that the alleged aggressor, only identified as Czech, was arrested by the Police.
The deaths of women at the hands of partners or ex-partners do not stop in the Dominican Republic. Until the middle of last March, there were 21 femicides and 20 orphans from these crimes.
