A total of 266 insured have participated in the first day of vote by deposit for the elections to the board of directors of the Andorran Social Security Fund (CASS), according to parapublic data. The votes have been distributed in 96 votes from the business people group and people who carry out an activity on their own account; 86 for employees i 84 for pensioners.
The CASS participation register indicates that there were the same votes at each enabled point, 133 at the Social Security offices on Josep Maragall Street and 133 in the municipality of Ordino. The distribution of votes was very similar since in the two voting points the maximum participation was for those employers, with 49 in CASS and 47 in Ordino. In the common they have voted more 46 affiliates for employees and 40 for pensioners. And in the offices of Andorra la Vella the total is completed with 44 pensioners and 40 employees.
The 266 votes cast represent a share of the 0.30% of the total census of 89,358 voters. And it is specified in one 0.44% of the 21,755 affiliates such as employers and self-employed workers; 0.41% of the 20,548 pensioners; and one 0.18% of the 47,055 employees.
Voting by deposit has been enabled as usual in the CASS offices and for the first time in the commons. Today was the turn for the parish of Ordino and tomorrow the vote can be cast in the commune of Encamp. Voters can vote from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m common of Ordino and the building of the CASS.
The Voting by deposit will last until June 16while the election day will take place on June 17.
